Obtaining authorisation to open of EENI Global Business School in Burkina Faso (Africa)

After obtaining the Authorisation to create the University, the next step is to obtain the opening authorisation, which will allow the University to start its activities. Due to the lack of transparency of the Ministry of Education, the project has been canceled.

The regulation of the opening conditions of a private University in Burkina Faso.

Any founder/declarant responsible for an authorisation to create a private University must, within one year from the date of delivery of the creation authorisation, submit to the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso a dossier of opening demand that includes:

1- An application for opening authorisation addressed to the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso

2- A legalised and valid copy of the creation authorisation

3- A dossier related to the Board of Directors

  1. The composition of the Board of Directors
  2. The organic texts related to the operation mode of the Board of Directors
  3. The minutes of the Board of Directors designating the Director-General
  4. The act of appointment of the General Director and the act of holding office.

4- A dossier on the administrative and academic governance of EENI Global Business School. This dossier must contain precise indications on the administrative governance and academic governance procedures.

5- A dossier related to the administration that must include the organisational chart of the University, including:

  1. The Director for La Francophonie of EENI
  2. A central accounting and finance service
  3. A human resources service
  4. A social-medical service
  5. Any other service that can improve the administrative organisation of EENI

6- The dossier related to academic management including:

  1. The act of appointment of the Rector and the act of taking possession
  2. A list of establishments created and organic operational texts
  3. A list of establishment directors, their minutes and the taking of possession
  4. The organic texts related to the functioning of the academic support services: the Schooling Service, the Documentation Service, the University Cooperation Department, the Infrastructure and Educational Equipment Service...

7- A pedagogical and research dossier including:

  1. The model of the different planned formations
  2. The content of training programs
  3. The list of selected teachers, as well as their costs per hour, grades and Curriculum Vitae
  4. The evaluation procedures
  5. The procedures for issuing diplomas
  6. The evidence of conformity of the human pedagogical resources with the level of the expected diplomas, in accordance with the provisions of the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES) in this respect
  7. The conditions of access of students to the various training programs
  8. The research guidance document

8- A dossier on hygiene and safety regulations:

  1. The evacuation plan of the establishment in case of fire or catastrophe
  2. The list of equipment provided to fight fires
  3. The certificate of compliance with health and safety regulations issued by the competent authorities of Burkina Faso

9- A medical and insurance follow-up dossier:

  1. UA copy of the contract between EENI Global Business School and a medical team or a hospital structure for the medical supervision of staff and students
  2. A certificate of collective health insurance assurance of students
  3. The certificate of subscription of a real estate insurance that covers the infrastructure of EENI

Inspection visit

The request for authorisation to open EENI Global Business School gives rise to an inspection visit of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso that ensure the accuracy of the information provided.

After the inspection visit of the establishment and the examination of the constituent elements of the application dossier for opening, the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso will approve or reject the opening authorisation requested.

If the opening authorisation is approved, the Rector of the private University can proceed to the opening at the beginning of the school year following the issuance of the authorisation.
