Railways in Djibouti
Djibouti has 93 kilometres of railways. The new Addis Ababa-Djibouti
railroad, an electrified normal gauge railroad built by two Chinese state-owned
companies, started operations in January 2018. Its purpose is to facilitate
freight services between Ethiopian inland and the Doraleh port of
Djibouti.
